CES 2019: Dell Latitude 7400 2 in 1 Device With 24 Hour Battery Unveiled

CES 2019 seems to be more about laptops than tablets this year, which doesn’t quite surprise anyone. The latest device of the sort to pop up is the Dell Latitude 7400, a 2 in 1 machine, that promises 24 hours of battery life.

This convertible laptop focuses on portability and a very long battery life, plus generous features. I see that the bezels of the screen are also quite narrow. Dell Latitude 7400 is a 2 in 1 that comes with a CNC machined aluminum unibody case, with a 14.89 mm thickness and just 1.36 kilograms in weight. It’s got a 14 inch Full HD screen in the mix and a Super Low Power 10 point touchscreen, that promises 300 nits of brightness.

There’s also Gorilla Glass 5 for protection in the mix. The screen is also compatible with Dell’s Active Pen stylus, which is available and sold separately. Dell Latitude 7400 2 in 1 convertible laptop is based on the Intel quad core 8th gen Core processors (Whiskey Lake-U), that come with integrated UHD Graphics 620, plus 16 GB of on board RAM.

Storage is of the SSD M.2-2280 PCIe/NVMe variety, with up to 2 TB available. There are also two Thunderbolt 3 ports in the mix, used for charging and two USB Type-A ones. We don’t forget about HDMI, a microSD card slot and an audio jack, as well as a smart card reader. For wireless tasks, we have WiFi ac/ax, a Bluetooth adapter and an optional 4G LTE modem, plus smart card reader.

Expect sales in March 2019 with prices starting at $1599.
