HP ProBook 400 G6 is a New Business Laptop Lineup With Whiskey Lake-U CPUs

HP ProBook 400 is a new business laptop lineup with Whiskey Lake-U processors. HP seems to be set on updating its entry level laptop lineup and that’s why they came up with the HP ProBook 400 G6 models. Let’s check it out.

The series includes the following units: HP ProBook 430 G6, HP ProBook 440 G6 and ProBook 450 G6. On the outside, the devices look very much identical to the G5 predecessors. Inside we’re treated to the new Intel 8th gen Core chips, with higher clocks and also faster WiFi. These new laptops will be available for $589 and up. HP ProBook 430 G6 packs a 13.3 inch display, it measures 0.7 inches in thickness and weighs 3.3 pounds.

It relies on a CPU starting at Core i3-8145U (dual core) and goes up to a Core i7-8565U quad core, up to 32 GB of DDR4-2400 RAM and up to 512 GB of PCIe NVMe SSD, plus 1 TB of HDD. Other connectivity options include an USB 3.1 Type-C port, an USB 3.1 port and an USB 3.0, plus a HDMI 1.4b port. Gigabit Ethernet is also here, plus an audio jack and SD card slot. A 45 Wh battery makes the cute, plus optional 4G LTE.

Moving on to the ProBook 440 G6, here we get similar specs, but a larger body. It all weighs 3.5 pounds, measures 0.7 inches in thickness and packs a 14 inch screen. The ports and battery are the same, but there’s an extra USB port in the mix, plus optional NVIDIA MX130 graphics. The 15.6 inch ProBook 450 G6 is a 4.4 pound machine, that measures 0.8 inches in thickness and supports the NVIDIA MX130 graphics.

We also get a 45 Wh battery.
