New details on Samsung Galaxy F foldable phone emerge, and we should see it very soon

Samsung is set to tease its forthcoming foldable phone on 7 November at its developer conference in San Francisco, but some details have emerged online beforehand.

The Samsung Galaxy F series, as it is now said to be called (rather than Galaxy X), will carry the model numbers SM-F900U in the States, SM-F900F in Europe and SM-900N in Asia, claims SamMobile. It will be available globally, therefore.

The website has also heard that the new handset will have 512GB of internal storage – putting it firmly in the premium category and likely to have a hearty price to match.

Samsung is reportedly working on a unique, heavily customised Android user experience with Google, specifically for this handset.

At least one variant of the Samsung Galaxy F will be dual-SIM, it is said.

SamMobile does place one caveat one the details it has gleaned; while it is thought the Galaxy F series refers to the foldable phone line, it could similarly be the designation for a range of gaming handsets the company also has in the pipeline.

We’ll find out more during the Samsung Developer Conference next week, we expect.
